Maranna Sucks. The town dumps another 200 homes on us

The criminal town council is dumping another small lot crap home development on us. We will now be between two shit home developments with over 400 homes. Our neighborhood is now crap. Homes being broken into. Mailboxes being broken into. Speeding all day and night on Camino DeManna. Litter all over the place an the have not even started these two development. The ONLY development they have turned down was due to intervention of a council member because her friends lived near by. I have had to install security camera on my mail box and the right of way..my neighbors are doing the same.  We have all had to install alarm system due to break ins. More pristine desert bulldozed. We all have large homes on large lots. our property value is plummeting.

Since they built Twin Peaks Rd, our road has been used by Oro Valley residents as a short cut. While it is not a short cut if you do the speed limit, it is if you speed, so they do. Now if they build the dam high density housing on this road as passed it will be ten times worse. Thank you Marana

This month my neighbors house was violated while they were at church.

They are spending 22 million dollars on a police station that is so far from the center of activity that the police will spend lost time driving to the station for their needs. It was on Ina, close to the center of activity.

Marana Sucks, Crime on rise as low cost housing is built

The town in it's wisdom is mixing low cost housing with custom homes. Results, more crime, my neighbor just informed me that his house was smashed into while he was at church on Sunday. This is the second one in the neighborhood.

Speeding is out of control on Camino De Manna. The police have tried everything to control it to no avail.

We now have a low life biker going in an out all times of the day in a low cost house, NOISE NOISE NOISE, and speeds up and down Camino De Manna.

Well for the second time in a short span there has been a train incident due to no horns allowed, In it great wisdom the town has forbidden the blowing of train WARNING HORNS in the town at crossings.

Wow we have a new mall, exactly like the one up the road in Phoenix, so we will not draw from there, the stores are same old crap, A new stop light on Twin Peaks to slow things down even more. Soon to be another at Camino De manna for the Twin Peaks Preserve traffic. Speeding continues on Camino De manna even though the police radar all the time.

The road is in bad shape and we like it as is, however there are no shoulders, someone will roll over while speeding at some point,

I am told most of the offenders are cutting through to Oro Valley, great those who reside in  the most enforced traffic in the area, now speed through our neighborhood to get home.

If your not speeding, Camino De manna is not a short cut, It is faster up Twin Peaks and Tangerine than Camino De manna.

I see that there is more development schedule near the mall, A hotel and restaurant are next.

Just when you thing that divine intervention may have caused the demise of this shit plan, you find it is moving ahead. Housing market is down,thousands of home are scheduled for the area and this developer is moving ahead with this garbage.

The meeting is October 28 at the Planning Commission, I would say attend but nothing we say will matter as in all politics now it is money talks.

Marana sucks- They spent hundreds of thousand of dollars promoting Marana Heritage

But they remove items like the cowboy on a horse statue at the entrance of Marana and replace it with a planter. 

They let McDonalds build an ultra modern building that look so awkward where it is and is two stories in height. 

To build the McDonalds the demolish the oldest Adobe building in Marana  in lieu of restoring it according to what I have been told by a life resident. 

The city of Tucson is purchasing out lying area buildings and demolishing them to create a Consevation area and Marana is bulldozing the Sonora desert and filling it with structures.

Marana sucks- Council women asks Planning Commission NOT to approve THIS development

While this sound nice, it was due to her friend living close by. After her plead I asked her off to the side and inquired why she voted for the two abominations up the road last winter. She looked at me with a blank stare, and said what developments are you speaking of?  

That's funny the criminal mayor and the corrupt council crammed two of them through in one night, the only other approved zoning changes in the Twin Peak corridor. She knew exactly what I was speaking of.  Then she stated she looks at every proposal individually. What was different with the other two, one with 240 homes on 100 acres. Easy her friend did not live nearby.
